Cookie policy
What cookies we use
GlassDrive uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, and understand how it's being used. We split cookies into three categories:
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the site to function. They handle things like keeping you signed in, holding the quote-form state while you complete it, and protecting against cross-site request forgery. You can't opt out of strictly-necessary cookies because the site doesn't work without them.
Functional
These remember your preferences (language, theme, dismissed announcements). They aren't critical to the site working but they make it nicer to use.
Analytics
We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where errors happen. Analytics cookies do not identify you personally — they aggregate behaviour across all visitors. You can opt out at any time in the cookie banner on first visit, or in your account settings later.
We do not use advertising cookies. We do not sell visitor data to third parties.
How long cookies last
- Session cookies: deleted when you close the browser.
- Persistent cookies: typically 30 days to 12 months, depending on what they store. Detailed durations are in the cookie banner.
Controlling cookies in your browser
You can set your browser to block or alert you about all cookies, but parts of the site may stop working if you do. Browser-specific instructions:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
You can also use private/incognito mode for a session that doesn't persist any cookies.
Do Not Track
We respect the Global Privacy Control signal — if your browser sends it, we treat that as an opt-out of analytics cookies for you on every visit, no banner interaction required.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when the cookies we set materially change. Material changes will trigger a fresh cookie-banner prompt on your next visit.
